Although this has been brought up numerous times, thought to just do so again.

If you’ve been following our releases for however long, we thank you very much in supporting us and our efforts.

But as with anything in life, you have your ups and downs and H!F has definitely had its fair share of those.

So this is just a message in hopes to be able to find ourselves some new recruits to help us in being able to release more subbed content to the fanbase.

As usual, we are currently seeking for both Translators (That can work with Aegisub) as well as Karaoke Typesetters.
Translators: We pretty much provide you with blank timings and you can just select each pre-timed line and input the translation accordingly
Karaoke Typesetters: We provide you with the Karaoke Timings and you just need to input the tag/codes for creating the effects

Just thought it’d be right to write up a little response/update as to where H!F currently stands as well as just a word of thanks to everyone.

For those that missed it, you can go here to catch up on things.

Anyway, we’ve got some good news, we do have some projects that are making progress and should hopefully be done within the next week or so.

Also, for those that still care, our Karaoke Department is slowly starting up again, as not only is Tomo-chan almost back, but we have 2 possible members that we are currently screening. They look hopeful so we do hope to be able to pass them as soon as they make the changes requested and we think it’s releasable. So to the fans that appreciate our Karaoke, do look forward to that.

Things will still be quite slow for us, but I’m fine with it, can’t always be active and on the mark with releases when your primary staff/person can’t do the translating despite having “all the time in the world.” Just got to deal with that and do what you can with what you’ve got and know that the fans out there appreciate our work and just be grateful for that.

So I’d like to thank everyone who has been keeping up with / supporting us throughout our subbing life.

Below will just be dedicated thank you’s to a few key people, if I’ve missed you, I do apologize as the reason can simply be, we haven’t kept in touch much.

Tomo-chan: I think I can safely say you’ve been with H!F for the longest period of time (I so hope I’m right). Anyway, it’s a huge thanks to you that the karaoke department is even around/ available for the public. I know that without your help, we definitely wouldn’t be putting out all the karaoke’s that we have. Grateful for all the other TS’ers we have but I’m sure without your QC, they wouldn’t be as spectacular as they are. If I were to just take in all the people that wanted to help, I can say that the quality probably wouldn’t up to par as to what you do. And I know for that alone, would get you to hate me greatly. I know whenever we’ve talked in the past when I ranted to you about how I wanted to give up on H!F, I recall reading, “If you disband H!F, I’m going to kill? (hate) you!”, yeah I wouldn’t want that, so here we are.

snoboat: You’ve just been awesome, I apologize that you became our primary translator and I’ve bugged you constantly to do/ trans. check. But it’s been great having you as we’ve even met up a few times, first time being when I actually drove down to San Diego with sis to visit. And the others during AX / Sakura-con. So huge thanks for all the help you’ve done and more or less for being so awesome!

Sohee: What is there to say? Originally signed on to help sub a bunch of things and then even expanded to doing lyric translations. Was surprised you wanted to take on such a huge project (doing all of MM’s PV Making of’s). You’ll eventually come around to getting those done. But apart from that, you’ve just been such an awesome friend and I still await the day that we meet! Still shocked me that you knew both Bryan and Jennifer ^^. As usual if there’s a time you need to rant about anything, you know I’m only a few clicks away. And it was still super awesome when you told me about your super cool experience with the project you were involved in with you know who’s PV. As fellow Film Majors (although I’m taking it very lightly, whereas you’re properly pursuing it), we here for each other =P

Chibusasa: Our newest addition to the group and such a super awesome one. Your personality just makes me laugh even though we’ve yet to meet. Still recalls the horrible Earthquake where you were just trying to sleep, but it bugged you, even when you tried to sleep through it. One of these days, you as well as Sohee, we’ve got to meet! But thank you for taking on the projects that would never ever be completed if it weren’t for you. And random trivia, first time I became friends with you via Facebook, I thought, “Oh, this girl here looks a bit like Chisato!” So I’ll forever remember you as the Chisato-look-alike.

ggliff: We wouldn’t really be here this year if it weren’t for you! Been sooo helpful/resourceful for aiding us with not only our site/forums but just doing a great job with the promotion of H!F with Musume-Central. So grateful to know you to help us out in our time of need.

monteyuma: Oh man where to begin? We don’t talk that much, but the times we do are just awesome. You’re one of the few that I can go to to rant about things, well same as you, but that’s cool. Since we generally agree with what each of us has to say, and you’ve also helped me a few times in regards to encoding.

Mattthecat: Hello there Matsuura lover! As with monteyuma, we don’t talk too often, but I still appreciate the feedback you give whenever there’s some sort of crazy fiasco going on. Sorta like my to-go to guy when I need help / some sort of conflict going on. We both be crazy devoted to what we love doing and to the best for the both of us. So thank you for everything you’ve said and done to help me out ^_^

Luna: Ehh, this is so off-topic as it has nothing to do with H!F but you know I had to mention you. You’ve always had that desire to help us out with Karaoke, but stuff happened, and well the end of it is… that’s not gonna happen. But you know you’re my Sister, and I got to mention you. Thanks primarily for that little snippet of my “poetry” you inserted into you and Mikaila’s awesome cover of Heartbeat #0822. Not only that, but was able to meet you in person and you were just pure joy. Still awaits that day that you’ll reconsider and work on them karaoke skills to help us out! Cause… cause… You’re a panda and I love you.

TakeoRay: Shhhh, almost forgot about you. But I had to add you in solemnly because you’re just a cool friend to have. Sakura-con was a great chance for us to get to know each other more and no worries man, only a selected few saw that footage that took place at the hotel entitled, “TakeoRay’s Confessions!” I’ll tell you what though, Luna said, “SHOW PEOPLE!!!” but as I told you, I won’t let the public see it without your permission ^^. Till the next time we meet, again, it was just a great time when you were around.

Aidol: HUGE THANKS goes out to you guys. I mean we’re like close buddies now, since we are collaborating, and not only for H!P stuff but with AKB48 stuff as well. A good balance to bring both worlds to the public. I know we aren’t as established as you guys are, popularity-wise, since we’ve got to face it (at least I have), that there are more AKB48 fans than there are H!P now. So it’s great that not only am I able to help you out with QC with AKB48 related things, that you’re willing to aide us out with H!P stuff as well. So I’m very grateful for having this bond that we have and look forward to continue working together.

I’d like to take this time to thank everyone who have supported us throughout our 4 years of subbing.

But I’d like to announce a few things, whether it’s for the better or worse is up to you.

As you know, generally I take upon myself to initiate projects for the group and do most of the work apart from the Translation / Karaoke Typesetting. It’s been a rough road with numerous obstacles (Losing members, members disappearing (not replying), motivation level changes, collaborations, etc.), but we pulled through and continue to put out subs on what was a pretty consistent fashion. Though we have had moments of hiatus and just not making that weekly release or whatnot but now it’s on a huge slow down.

So what does that lead to? Well, we still got tons of unsubbed projects that are sitting there, but probably won’t see the light of day, so here’s the breakdown of what we got that is just pending translations:

Then as usual, the bajillion or so PV’s, but that’s pending Karaoke Typesetting which Tomo-chan should HOPEFULLY be able to continue soon, as she’s been backed up with a lot of things.

(But of course, if there are willing Translators/ Karaoke Typesetters, that’d be awesome!)

Anyway, so again, it’s been fun and recently we’ve made alliance with the wonderful people of Aidol and have now sorta dipped our hands into AKB48 stuff, will admit, their shows are definitely more entertaining. And they have helped us with H!P stuff, and we’ll continue working with them to bring out subs to all the fans of both H!P/AKB48.

But here is the issue, on my end at least. In the past few weeks or so, my motivation to do any H!P subbing has taken a huge plummet, not sure from what, as I recall, I was working on a DVD (Which I’ve passed onto another staff, but not sure if it’ll be completed), as I was working on it, my mind just said, “F it, quit”, and well, I did, so I haven’t touched that project since then. Since then, I don’t know, things have just slowed and the translators have been busy so I don’t dare take on anything new unless Translator commits to it.

Once we complete all current projects, I think I’ll put H!F on hold just to see if my motivation for it returns or not. BUT I will say this right now, whenever the BK Seattle DVD is released, we will work on that (Unless something goes completely whack). Other than that, expect much fewer releases from us, BUT we will still be aiding Aidol with their AKB content.

(Don’t misinterpret this please, it isn’t that I’ve given up on H!P and moving over to AKB or anything. No, that’s not the issue at all.)

But even with that said, I, SC, will still be around, but concentrating more on J-Drama / Movies, Tokusatsu (Sentai/ Kamen Rider).

Quite a pity really, but that’s reality I suppose. Definitely was fun building up fandom and meeting the fans as well too.

So again, thank you everyone for your support throughout our efforts, and we hope to still occasionally put out releases for your viewing pleasure. But all is well, other fansubbing groups are slowly emerging / becoming more active. So I thank them for subbing ^_^

We do not plan on rebuilding it.

So you can all just rely on other Uploaders to view them on YouTube, or get them through Torrent / Direct DL.

Here’s a lazy post in hopes of finding interested Translators / Karaoke Typesetters.

In the past few weeks, we’ve gotten a few interested Translators but sadly, after initial greetings and assigning of first Project, they’ve basically disappeared.

I don’t quite understand the point of interest if there isn’t much “work” done to begin with and then they just up and leave and don’t reply back to their emails.

So here’s just another shot at finding those interested and are willing to commit to completing a project without just up and leaving.

No releases today like we did last year.

But anyway, let’s cut right to it.

Here’s just another call for possible Interested Translators / Karaoke Typesetters.

As mentioned in a previous Recruit Post, we have around 34 Projects (Includes and not limited to; Alo-Hello!’s, Utaban’s, Various Concert MC/Skits, PB Making of’s) that are pending Translations. Then there are well over another 20 or so PV/Perf’s that just need Karaoke Typesetting.

A few are Eri-centered, which I hope we can manage at least ONE of them to be completed in time for her B-day.

So if anyone is interested, just comment below and we’ll see how things go.

And our primary Translators are currently swamped with not just their own projects, but with their own life.

Status Update:

Yes, H!F will be subbing the 3 Graduation DVD’s. We have already completed the Timing Stage for both, and now just pending translations.

Although it does disappoint me to discover that one or both of these may be subbed by another group… Pending results.

(Just a bump)

As some of you may have noticed, in the past week or so, I made a post about possible down-time of our site due to Domain issues.

I just wanted to announce that everything is 100% back to normal now, although at quite a toll.

So to keep you updated, we had issues with Domain name due to original owner not wanting to take any part of renewing the Domain anymore.

Sad part is, he didn’t want to transfer ownership to me so we had to take the risky path of waiting for it to go up for Auction, which starts at a cheap price.

But it seems because I made such an announcement, not saying there is, but just by the look of things, others were bidding on it as well, which really really hiked up the price to one I didn’t want to pay for, but ended up doing so.  As this was the better route opposed to getting a new name and having to message everyone that I could to update the links and then majority of our releases would have the incorrect URL in it.

As I see no reason anyone else would want our name, given there were 5 other bidders apart from myself.  ><

Anyway, because of this #K$JL#K%$)%(*$() dilemma we had, I hate to ask people for donations, but it has come to this, any amount is appreciated.

And I thank those who’ve donated in the past!

Well, with that aside, do wait as we have a few goodies in store for you later today. ^_^

I would like to take this time to say that we apologize for not having our Weekly Releases as scheduled, but we have taken some time to sort of re-prioritize our projects.

So what does that mean?

Basically, we’ll be working on numerous smaller projects than larger ones… As we currently have about 6? Major Projects, although a few of those (maybe half) are on hold due to not hearing back from the perspective Translators, although one is still trying to get it completed. We have set HIGH/Top priority for one of them and hope to have it completed within the next month to hopefully meet a certain deadline the Translator has suggested, although there are no guarantees.

Anyway, in regard to the re-prioritizing, H!F will now be taking on a more specialized approach as to what projects we’ll be working on, and whenever we get to those, after completing this one major project, you’ll know right away when the first few are released whenever they are completed… Now we are not sure if this is for the better or not, but we have received some requests to have them completed, so Sohee proposed that we do some, if not all of them. And I’m slowly collecting the RAW’s for them now.

As mentioned, this mainly just limits H!F to working on 2 particular genre’s of Projects, although we will try to sprinkle in a Major project here and there when time permits.

Not to worry though, since a subbed project is a subbed project. And eventually when we complete these, we’ll move onto another genre, since one of these 2 genres we’ll eventually catch up on, and the other is a hit/miss process.

With that out of the way…

Just thought I’d also take this time to mention that H!F has kicked it into high gear, and therefor, in the upcoming week/s you’ll be getting 2 PV or Perf’s a week.

But only for a few weeks.

As for our weekly releases… We should hopefully have one(or a few) for this Saturday (But it might be a little late this week), and then a slight slowdown due to one Translator going back to Singapore soon.
