Here at Vegas with Cousin’s just celebrated the New Years countdown, and thought it still important for me to make this special release for you all.

Originally planned as our 500th Release, but that didn’t happen since we don’t have the manpower to complete the needed amount of projects, but thought to still get this one out to you on New Years.

This also includes bonus rehearsal/backstage material.
(JunJun is freaking cute during her part =P)

I know some of you may be wondering about the TV HD Broadcast of this, well, I did debate whether or not to do it, and it seems roughly 10 minutes shorter than the DVD. So we passed on it. Sorry to those HD fans for this one =P

Description by Sohee:

Dear Readers,
Happy New Year!! How about watching this first thing the new year? ^^

Myself I was lucky enough to go and see this stage play live in Ginza when they did it, and while I honestly had no expectations at all – the story seemed kind of dull – I was happily surprised. There is a lot of humor in this play, as well as touching and serious moments. At the end I think every person in the theatre cried a little and once it was over it was with happily surprised feelings I went back home.

The story itself is very simple and cute, but what one should look out for is the acting skills of our lovely Musume members. Of course Ai-chan is amazing, but even Linlin, Sayu and Eri did quite well if you ask me. Hell, there was no one that actually was, bad but sadly not everyone got the chance to shine as much. Sayu was not in as much as the rest and while it did make me a bit sad, one has to think of all the various TV-shows she’s been on since last year so that she didn’t have the chance to practice nor was able to be in it as much, is a given. The parts she is in though, are all hilarious. ^^

For me, the highlight of this whole thing, is without Ai-chan’s acting and her solo “Samishii hi” (Don’t know it? It’s from Morning Musume’s first album, track 10). But despite her completely outshining everyone, there are quite a few funny songs as well as touching performances.

Even if you never thought of watching this, maybe because you didn’t understand it, now there are subs for it and I strongly recommend watching it. The story might not seem all that interesting, I didn’t think so either after all, but you will be surprised. It was a fun watch and I’m happy there was a DVD of it.

I hope you enjoy it!

Wow are you really coming up on that mark already, hey, a little message from Billy, you guys have put in some serious man hours, give ya self a little vacation.

  3. Thank you sooo much! I really enjoyed the play! It was soooo worth the wait!

  4. Heya, can you give me a tip on how to play this file? In VLC player I mostly just see grayness. Am I missing a codec or something?

  5. ^Not sure what’s wrong.

Don’t got the file on me to check. But that is interesting that with VLC it’s giving you just grayness.

Not sure if you’re able to play it with the built in Windows Media Player.

As for me, I use CCCP Codecs + MPC-HC and have no issues.

  6. After a new install of CCCP, it still doesn’t work on VLC but it now works on MPC-HC and DivX player.

  7. Glad that got sorted. And Codecs doesn’t apply to VLC, since it comes with its own built-in ones.

Although it’s weird, as usually VLC is able to play close to everything.
